Yo! I've recently moved into the skinning phase of a large scale project. I've modelled a bunch of stuff in Maya then ported it into 3DS Max for skinning/animation, and I've come to my first hurdle. See, when I imported the mesh and put the skin on it, pieces of it go invisible! It seems that whatever polys are facing the user disappear. The screenshot attached shows the problem. You can see clear through to the back of the model. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm not that good with Max, so any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. |

select the mesh, in the editmesh modifier menu(if u dont hav editmesh modifier, then apply one) select faces(ull notice the "menu" when u see a list with: vertex, edge, faces, poligons, elements), then select all the faces wich you can see trougth, then select flip(seach under the modifier list, not in the list, under the space where u see the list of modifiers, under the the white space). done. I think this can be done by selecting polygons, instead of faces, too If this doesnt fix the model then the texture must be the problem |
