I'm really not sure where this goes, but I want to know more about modding, such as like RIGHTFIELD'S TTOR, and what is needed to make one, how one works and where to find some basic tutorials for a beginner such as myself.

If you don't mind the abuse, I'd ask RightField himself.

It involves making changes to the data in the war3patch.mpq and replacing that .mpq for all players who play your mod. You can change all object data through .txt's and .slk's, and you can even insert AI and triggered spells into the code of the game

thanks for your help. Can someone tell rightfield to tell me plz? Or any experienced person with patience could do. I tried searching but found nothing to teach him how to mod even a little bit. I think i'll try pming him to see what happens.

Haha, me too. I often just rate or ask stuff, but mostly it never really gets answered. Btw, for a mod, I just wanted to know, since it temporaily replaces the data while ur playing the mod, can you add more races, like in TTOR except u have somehting like 12?

The loading screen can't be made to show more than 4 races, sadly. So, while you can assemble as many races as you want, you'd have to have some alternative method in-game to choose your race.

OH dammit. I was hoping to do something like that
You know the creep rebellion installer, anyone knows how that works then? I trust it's something similar to a mod right?

sorry about the double post, but I really want to know how. I'm sure the people that post would want their answers answered too.
