Troubles with Arthas cape

Hi I have done a model from Arthas, but I don't need his cape. I resized the cape and I have hidden it inside his body, but when I see the animations, I can see the cape, possibly because the bones animations are the problem.
I need help with removing the cape or changing the animations.
I have 3D Studio Max 5, but I don't know how to create new models for warcraft 3 and I don't know how to animate models.
If anyone can make a tutorial in spanish, it would be great!
Thank you!!! ;)

You can convert it into an mdl and use Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modify tool to delete the cape and save you tons of export, converting trouble. After removing the cape just save and reconvert it into an mdx.

Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modifier owns. Seriously, for map makers not looking to remake the whole game why mess with downloading 3dsmax for hours or learning all the stuff.
