Hi all, just wanted to share another completely random observation I made recently. So, in my Arena, I have custom heroes that all have a custom scorescreen icon. I have just been playing about a bit, I used some computer players that share control with me to get to try multiple heroes at the same time, I just picked 3 heroes of the same type, played a bit and then ended the game. Now comes the funny bug: on the score screen, the three heroes (which were of the same type) did not display the same icon. One of them (the one with the most kills, at least it was that one the two times I tested this, don't know if it's always that one) displayed the icon of the hero it was based on instead of it's own custom icon. The other two displayed their custom icons just fine. Totaly wierd. When I tested 5 other hero types, they always all displayed their icons properly, only this one (and maybe someone of those 4 I haven't tested yet) has this bug that the best one of 3-4 same heroes displays the icon wrongly. Anyone got a clue why? :) |

Guest | Well at first I thought you didn't edit one of the feilds but when I read on, like you said the other heros displayed their icon. So if you don't know it heck, I definatly won't! lol ;) |

I tested some more and, oddly enough, with 6 heroes, not one got this bug. After that, I tested again with 3 and 4 heroes and got the bug again. I also got it with 3 of these heroes and another one of different type. It would take a whole lot more of testing to establish the rule by which this bug appears, and I don't have time at the moment to dwell into it. I'll just post the screenshot, although it's not much of a proof as I could have just used different heroes to make it. You'll just have to trust me, untill I release the map when you'll be able to try it for yourself. :P |

i guess it's an object editor bug.. try to copy that hero then try it on another map. :D |

It would be interesting if you had actually removed the hero and replaced it with another hero with the same level at the end of the game :P But failing that it seems like more a bug with warcraft 3 then data fields or anything... Of course it isn't a big deal really... Not like anyone except someone with OCD for checking all parts of the endgame screen will even notice it ;) and, it has no effect on gameplay. But it would be fun to trace in the map for exactly when it happens, then in which trigger...and so forth. |

anyways it doesn't matter, most maps skip the game scores and stuff |

I think it does matter, because his map does show scores. Is it the same hero over and over? What hero type are we talking about here? Are the heroes pre-made or are they custom made in game? |

But it really doesn't matter that much. luckily, this only happens on a hero that's based on a very similar one, so the icons aren't totally wrong in the end, so what if one huntress gets a PotM's icon by mistake. |
