poision arrows

hi all curerently trying to do a research where it upgrades my archers to posion arrows, i used the orc posion spear thingy(cant rember its name off hand) and it doesnt seem to add the posion effect, any ideas? i link the unit to use the upgrade and everything but it doesnt add the posion. thx in advance for any help

The unit must use the upgrade, so must the ability, and the unit must have the ability. The ability may only work with missle attacks (like the vyvern has), make sure your archers have it. Still doesn't work? Did you remove the old upgrade requirements from the ability before adding new ones? hmmm... that's it, can't think of anything else that could be wrong...

Try making a custom slow poison. Then edit the amount the unit is slowed by to 0%. This will probably work.

Did you modify the upgrades required for envenomed spears? Envenomed spears by all means should have no reason of not working unless the upgrade itself is not researched.
