a noob question

why i cant open the map in the game, when i push start game nothing apens

You sure? I don't think that's ever happened to anybody...

Try making a copy of the map. I don't think that I will change anything, though...

Ok this is what I got out of it:
When he hosts the map, and then presses "Start Game" nothing happens.

Ok, this happened to me once (or at least my friend, because I can't host so I send him my maps) Ok, make sure you have an opponent! Neutral Hostile does NIT count as an enemy, you have to have a player enemy or else it will not start the game!

well maybe because you did something wrong in the map....last time i had the same problem, got to remake the whole map....does it show the numbers of players when you want to start the game??

I would have to agree. But i don't think he is that dumb, considering if you have no opponents and you press start, it says "Must have an opponent in order to start."

Unless he can't read, which I think he can, I think it is a different problem.

It might be your connection to b.net. If it was down or something, you can't host, or have a trouble trying. Make sure your connection is working properly.

Well like I said my friend hosts...not me..so I wouldn't know aobut that :D

update to 1.18.

Again, I don't think he is that dumb. When you sign in to b.net, you have to update to the next patch, otherwise you can't play on b.net.
He said he was trying to make a game, but couldn't. That means he was on b.net, thus he has the patch.

as of now, he didn't said anything that he connected to bnet right? maybe he was making a game in single player.. *sigh*

A lot of people play on b.net. It is possible to for him to play it single, but we will just have to wait and see.

im sure it says u need to select an openent if u dont have 1 selected when making a game tho? like azhag said i dont think he is that dumb, or he is and hes actually slected a comp now and sorted it out, hence he hasnt replied back :) thats my theory

Hmm... what map is it? Or is it all maps? I've had both exprotect and map optimizer occassionally botch up a map and making it so it won't start the game properly, it just stays at the map menu.

dont know i must ask it here but does some one know a very good campaign map for me coz i like those.. :(
