This map im working on shows alot of nifty tricks that can be played to get past some of the limitations placed on wc3, i will be more than happy to share any of the code, just drop me a e-mail or PM. Features: -100 levels for your hero (yes 100) -Completely customizeable heros using a diablo like stat menu -Brand new exp system, i do not use the built in hero exp system at all -Full legnth cinimas that work on bnet -Respawning monsters -Random chance of item drops from monster depending on the monster -Main storyline and corresponding quests -Sub quests -15 heros -Unique town portal system (buy a scroll of TP for a certin town and it will teleport you there, doesnt use the melee like TP) -Mini bosses like from a real RPG (battle boxes) -Skill level changes depending on how many people in the game (only is set during the start of game, if people leave it does not get easier) -Probly some other things i cant think of Note: this isn't finished, probly has a lot of bugs i didnt find yet. Quick rundown on the exp system. THe leaderboard will kep track of your exp. Next, look at your Lumber. At lvl 1 you will have 10 lumber. that 10 tells you how much exp you need for the next level. When your score on the leaderboard hits 10 you will level up. Your Lumber will become 30, and then 60, 100 and so on until level 100. And no.. giving away your lumber will not help you level faster, or make somebody level slower. Its the varible stored in memory that counts =) |

I thought you were talking about something else, like actual editing of the exp system and such. Its pretty cool, but the hero didnt seem to actually gain levels. It was pretty nice, it was atleast more compelling than RoK. |

every 10 levels the hero will gain 1 actual level for a new spell. So far i found 19 bugs and tweeks since that version heh, thats what i get for programing at 3 am |

Heh its not really ment for single player, although it is possible, it will probly take you like 5 hours =) I found the best combo of heros is 1 or 2 ranged attackers, 2 or 3 melee, one of them the vampire for the aura, and a priest for healing. |

see.. i did play it single but not for long cuz it would be so much more fun on multi peons never auto engage anything |

Guest | hey dakan, loved your heroquest2, and this one looks good too. one thing i did not like however was the haze created in game (fog effect) when you look down on it from all the way up. i found it kind of annoying. anything else i noticed that was messed up i think just was not yet complete :) also...the heroes seem to get too powerful too fast with that many stat points flying around. a friend and i did it with just us 2 and had no real problems with it. i think it needs to be harder, or the heros less beefy. |

Guest | also put the shops on the mini map if possible...that would help alot in running from town to town. and maybe how much exp is needed till the next level. |
