How do I make an pathing map that blocks air but dont buildings? Ive checked the "Air Pathing blocker" but that one just blocks buildings too. |

You might have some luck using the pathing map of those floating rocks from the outland doodad set, but I'm not sure. |

It might depend on the pathing of the building, you might need to make it placable on normally unbuildable terrain. And it's not possible to put the building there in the editor, but creating buildings there with triggers might work. |

There are distinct pathing map codes. They can be understood by color. Blue is unbuildable, red is unwalkable, and green is unflyable. When you place a building like a Townhall on the map and press 'P' (in the WE) you can see the pathing map that it has. Notice that the outside is blue (unbuildable) and the inside is purple, which is a combination of red and blue (both unbuildable and unwalkable). I believe that the flying blockers are only supposed to be green. Place one and find out if this is the case. If so, it shouldn't be blocking building placement. If it's teal, though (green + blue) then it's unbuildable and unflyable. If it's white, it's all three. If it's yellow, it's unwalkable and unflyable, but buildable. Do you see how it all comes together? The combinations I picked up from basic color theory, but the ability to figure out how they apply comes from Zepir, who's a great contributor to the War3 mapping community. |

Well Ive read in another post where you explained that. And Ive tested the "unflyable" pathing and it blocks the buildings too. Any other ideas? |

The aerial pathing blocker, when placed, causes a pathing that seems to be of a bit teal-ish color, perhaps the pathing blocker's pathing map also blocks buildings even if it's supposed to be only a flying pathing blocker. Perhaps you should try making a custom pathing map... |

Well first it where teal, but then managed to change it to green but that dont seem to work either. |

Are the buildings being placed in the editor, or with triggers? Because I don't think you can ever put two things on top of eachother in the editor, no matter what colour their pathing is. |

Guest | try making a region which says something like: a unit enters a region unit type of units entering region = flying (or something) instantly move entering unit to region ( another regionplaved infront of the region which they cant get into) im not a trigger genuis but perhaps it will work :s |

Well, Im trying to accomplish so an building has this pathing. though other buildings should be able to be around that building. |
