summer time for me! and an art dump.... yea... on the last day, i went to see the new star wars which was dissapointing so... yea... "you look wonderful tonight" add gibberish "have love blinded you?" "nope, i've been listening to eric clapton." and then i won $10 at poker. and so... yea... i just got a Mauser C-96 "Broomhandle" .30 cal. (aka Mauser Military Pistol) and then later found out that Lucas used a Mauser as the base for Han Solo's blaster. so... here's my "star wars pieces" the other pictures for this gun will be a link.... since i'm too lazy to resize all of them and to upload them here http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723523/ in holster http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723317/ 1 http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723375/ 2 http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723451/ brass ejector out 1 http://www.deviantart.com/view/18723580/ brass ejector out (2) http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723632/ " (3) http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723669/ and 3 references of holding it http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723746/ http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723856/ http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/18723899/ the ammunition for this thing is expensive! almost 1.50 per round. EDIT: this one was made in 1920 so this one doesn't have the external clip. Model 678. the external clip came in the early 1930's and came out with 2 models that supported it. the 711 which is classified as a machine gun and the 712 which is semi automatic. anywhoo... with normal sketch dump |

gogo backlights! it looks verry foggy, verry nice. though i do have top say that the lighting is not always coherent-- the shading on his right arm (the one on the left side of the picture) seems to not be coming from the same direction as the rest, and i cant make out what that light on the right of the picture is supposed to be... |

if teh light is coming from that arm, you should eccaturate it some more, make it rediculously bright for your own feeling-- it will look better. at first its quite hard and scary to experiment with really extravagant shading and lighting, but in the end it can pay off big time, its fun to have a picture with a verry extravagant lightsource. think of samus' gun when it charges in medroid prime-- shiny! also, if its for or somoke, that should reflect and bend some of the light as well. |

Guest | His left hand really needs to be fixed it ruins the overall quality of the picture since it is sticking out and calls the viewers attention. You should practice some more anatomy even if your style is cartoony. Adding to what erwtenpeller said make the light coming from the leg less concentrated look at curtains and other clothing and see how much light can differ on the folds. |

is there somethign actually wrong, or you're just saying it because several people have said that, but when i asked, the never replied. giving me the feeling of 'meh' here's how i usually plot out before i get into more detail. tell me what's wrong. Quote:
well, yea... (duh) haven't you seen my post on my previous thread? or you're internet was down. :P and one more i've been watching the 'Taxi' series. not the remade version, the one made by Luc Besson. it made me draw the taxi from the movie. "Taxi de Marsielle" |
