-Forever Winter-

Ok, for the most part I'm not looking for teammembers on this map. I just want to see what everyone thinks about the idea. This campaign takes place long after Arthas merges with the Lich King, but it does have to do with him. Unlike other campaigns it does not take place merely months after but rather approximately fifty years after.

Here's the story:

For years the Lich King has been building an army. As soon as Arthas and Ner'Zhul merged he began. Gathering supporters from around the globe, he has finally repopulated Northrend. It is now filled with villages of evil men, wayward orcs, demons, and undead. The Lich King now plans to launch a major assault against the rest of the world. In hopes of aiding his armies in battle he has cast a Winter that will last until the four power sources (yet to be decided) of it are destroyed.

The armies are lead by numerous Generals that have been endowed with power from Ner'Zhul himself to be incredibly powerful. These Generals not only command their men but fight along side them as well. The Alliance knows it must take out these Generals and the armies will retreat temporarily, or at least lessen the amount of fighting on their land.

But while this great war rages on so does another. A war between two religious factions, The Order of the Silverhand, and The Children of Caine. The warriors in this war are the Holy Knights of Zakarum and the Unholy Raiders of Nod. The fate of this war may help to decide the outcome of the larger war surrounding it.

So basically this story is filled with quite a few smaller stories that will interweave and hopefully make the game more interesting. Or rather I should say games, because I wish to make two campaigns, one for The Alliance and one for The Frozen Armies(Ner'Zhul's armies). The other reason I have more side-stories in this is so I can make more levels and show the progress of the war.

Here's a bried summary: this will be two campaigns with three stories inside one large story. I hope to have many memorable characters in these campaigns and to have great terrain. I would also like to have beautiful cinematics and some custom skins.

Although I said I'm not asking for help, I could use the aid of a skinner and a cinematic artist. These spots don't need to be filled but it would be nice. So please give me feedback on my idea, both positive and negative are appreciated, as long as their are no insulting posts or flaming.

Looks pretty interesting, I don't think the lich king would have humans and orcs (wayward or not) under his command, but more sort of undead and demonic creatures. Although having evil humans and orcs does add variety.

So would the campaign jump between the stories or be laid out start to end?

It'd be laid out start to end, each story would just be maybe a couple levels but each is basically just to make the plot more interesting as well as show the progress of the story

No human are willing to join the undead, not even the most evil human. One thing is the human must be turned into sorta undead inorder to join them. I prefer the plot to be twisted into a more logical way. The human race is broken, while the orc and night elves are recuperating.

My idea is there: The undead took this advantage to destroy the scattered army around the world. After few years of this hunting, the Lich King is using the ULTIMATE RESURRECTION to reanimate the fallen victims of the pass. Therefore, the range of this magic will affect the whole world and will rise the army of darkness in one blow. This will be the ultimate goal. The human, orc and nightelves army is getting smaller and smaller while the undead is getting stronger. Thus a new alliance between the three races is form once again. But their method is not to launch direct confrontation on the undead but by sabotaging the Nerzul's plan of grand resurrection. Unlike previous episodes of warcarft 3, the undead has to defend most of the time from the alliance, whether from raids, assault or satotage.

The humans are resentful to Arthas. Therefore Jaina gather enough man to outwit Arthas in a battle and capture him. But Jaina believe that she can turn Arthas back to normal, but didn't aware that the Lich King is controlling Arthas. Therefore, The Lich King pretended Arthas being back to normal and therefore join the alliance. But Actually, the lich king plan is to monitor the alliance movement while using a remote communication with his other commading officer. The lich king/Arthas help the alliance for the first few missions to gain their trust. Later on, the alliance plan begin to fail but the Lichking manage to point fingers to a scape goat, probably to Thrall. This cause Jaina and Thrall to hate each other. Thrall however believe that Arthas is still not himself. He has been suspecting Arthas ever since he join the alliance. Thrall investigate the plan and eventually set a trap to reveal that Arthas is behind every failing plan. However, by the time Lich King is revealed, his plan is almost accomplished. The final battle is yours to decide.

Each undead success or alliance failure can let us feel the world is getting more dangerous. The alliance must fight to the last men for the future to survive.

It's a good idea. I like the plot, even though it has some generic story lines into it.

I would imagine Arthas to be even eviler then he used to be.
