Ich habe eine Frage

Yea I have a question
I have "remember me" selected, but each time I come here (after some period of wait, like a bathroom break) I have to sign in again (the screen name stays but the pass word doesnt)

also, it signs me off at the most random moments, like entering a new forum section

third I cannot give reputation, the usual button (reputation link) give things like "post not valid, please contact web master... blah blah blah"

I cannot see my reputation with the usual button, same thing as above

Ive cleared cookies twice
Use Mozilla Firefox
and Dunno if Windows XP counts

Try fiddling with security options in your browser, and make sure it doesn't delete new cookies on exit.

make shure that in "options->privacy->cookies-> Keep cookies unitll:" is set to "untill they expire"

and if it is, do you have any addons that have anything to do with cookies? are you using the latest version? and are you running XP SP2?

service pack 2. (a windows XP update)

i have just had this issue, except it was after i left the site then came back. I have no clue what could be causing this, because i dont have this issue on other VB boards. (may have something to do with the stockmarket)

not that i know much about computers, but in the interest of jumping to conclusions and knee jerk reactions; id blame XP if i were you. ive heard some nasty things about servace pack 2 fucking up IE and firewalls

Gitlich: SP2 isent bad. its not evil or horrid. XP is junk compared to linux and all unix based OS's, but it isent as bad as some people say it is.

and he isent using IE, he is using Firefox.
