Guest | ![]() Ok redo (not trace) each of these lines onto another peice of paper as many times as you can. Some more practice stuff you can do is fill an entire paper with horizontal lines or circles they don't need to be any pattern. Or get a blank peice of paper and make a bunch of dots on it randomly then get another peice of paper and try to put the dots on the exact same location on the new peice of paper. Do not underestimate how many times you should do these because they are the basics and will surely help you the more you do them. |

Well theres many diffrent ways to approaching it. Like for faces, I do one line make a circle at top and make it an egg shape then I just change to to a face I saw. For full bodies I make the same head shape and just put a line in the flow of the body. The line is usually how the spine would bend, and this makes it alot easier to make better poses and keep your proportions workin. Just try some basic stuff for underdrawing and eventually youll get used to it and develop your own way of doing it suiting to your style. |

YES kevin chen! pwnage. I really been getting fustrated with process lately and this what I need! My process before was kind of retarded . I would start with a scriblly gesture thinking mainly skeleton, the 3 massses head ribcage and pelvis, and arms legs collarbone. Basic stickfigure skeleton. Then find I an outline and planes. then block shadows strongly like cell shading. Then go to work on halftones. It was super tweek mode. Im going to use kevin's manakin and layin approach from now on. :god_help_us: I like how he uses basic forms and add more forms on the basic ones. i really need to that shet. |
