Ok so I wanna test this map but everytime I load it with the WC Map Editor it says

"Error:"
Trigger Function does not exist in database: Destroy Trigger

So I really wanna play this map and I have no access to Battle.Net....
I downloaded the map here and its saved as a seperate file from WC: FT so I wanna play it but can't . I have tried the "Open With" option when I right-click and drag it over to the WC:FT Icon but all it does is start up Warcraft and brings me to the main menu..(You know the place where the Battle.Net option is)
I also try to got to custom game and look for it there but I can't find it I've looked through all the folders, the Test, Scenario, all of 'em..

SO PLEASE any help would be greatly appreciated!! GREATLY!!!!

thank! Oh! and on a side note I'm new to these forums so forgive me if I posted in the wrong place

Well, your map should be in the maps folder or one of it's subfolders in your war3 directory. If it's not there, then of course you can't find it when you try to play it.

I might be a little off, but i beleive its in this file (taking from memory)
My Computer-->C Drive-->Program Files-->Warcraft3-->Maps-->Download

if you cant find this, then i typed it wrong, lol, but try placing it in its folder, then try to play it from custom games.

Yes, that's the default directory, but it may have been installed elsewhere. The last 3 are correct, anyways.

Joey.
The error occurs when the map is damaged by a 3rd party program, or so called Map Protection.

its noit damageing the map. its removeing an un-nesisary file out of it (and good map lockers also optimize maps) that also happens to not let the world editor open it! (to keep the noobs out. A place liek this coomunity is the place to open source your maps, Battle.Net is NOT the place to open source your maps.)

actually, based on the description of the WE crash, it seems more like a result of WEU . I've seen other seemingly "protected" maps that really just need WEU to open them - normal WE doesn't recognize triggers that are in WEU, and crashes when it tries to open up a map with WEU triggers in it.

WEU stands for World Editor Unlimited. I pretty much is more flexable than the normal WE, it's just an add-on really.

You can find WEU on wc3sear.ch, in the tools section (or whatever it's called, I haven't been there in a long time).
