Are there ways to reduce the loading for a map?

Move all your triggers that start at map initilization to time elasped is equal to 10 seconds. Then put in a trigger saying, Please wait while tha map loads and have it go off at map initilization.

Also, reduce all Comments, and strings, try using True.RuS's ToT (true's optimizing tool) found at www.wc3sear.ch.

Vex's optimiser seems to work nicely for me. Also, sometimes longer loading times are better (it means there will be less lag ingame from loading things on the fly)

If you've got a lot of imports that also slows it down.

use the widgetizer + vex optimizer to reduce map size and loading time, u can also try to remove any unused regions, units, doodads and triggers.

for aos style map or others, simply dont use initially placed hero unit .. with huge amount of heroes, loading time increased

In the case of my map:

Tru's : 15 seconds saved
Map Optimizer : 15 seconds saved
Widgetizer : 1 minute saved
Widgetizer + map optimizer : 1 minute 2 seconds saved
