Accch! Don... make a pre-sketch first... do thumbnails to get the pose down. This will not be your best work, and I'm pretty sure you see a reason why. Don't start adding details until you have the rest down. His pose is lacking motion... the left arm and torso are what ruin the effect of the fall. I don't want to say it, but the best thing to do would be to start over. Do some thumbnails to get the pose down... one that screams "action"... and then presketch the figure... after that... block out some background shapes... add detail to the figure... and then to the background... then take care of the lighting... None of this post is meant to be taken in a negative manner... I just wish I could express what I'm trying to say better. You want to improve, don't be afraid to do something over as many times as you need to make it right. icbm1987 |
