I am having a hard time figuring out what type of map I should work on right now... I have posted a few. Give suggestions... which ones you would like to see and so on. Rise of Nations Beyond: An aeon style map. Two nations fight for territory. They consist of two large sides. Each side has about five strongholds. When a stronghold is taken over, the opposing side begins to build there, making it their own. You help the two nations build as well, by helping their workers gather gold and lumber. If a worker is killed, another one is created to replace it, but will take time. You pick a base class, and then build upon that. Example, Fighter: Warrior, Crusader, Hell Warrior, etc. etc. Mage: Ice Wizard, Fire Wizard, Lightning Wizard, etc. etc. Archer: Ranger, Sniper, Axe Thrower, etc. etc. You can then change class once again, into a master of a domain. The War of Creeps: Grunt vrs. Footmen style map. You choose your creeps, and then unleash their powers into the battle field. Your creeps spawn, 1 every 8 seconds or so. Use these creeps to attack your enemies. Many, many different upgrades. Main base has abilities on them which improve your creeps combat. Main base also has some attack spells, to ward off those opposing attackers. Neutral bases are located between you and your opponents. You must break through these opponents before you can kill your enemies. Many different selectable heroes, all which are creeps themselfs. The Armies Unleashed (Still undecided about name): Castle defence style map. Gather your gold, and use it to build up an army of your own to fight the waves of units about to smash down your castle's gates. When you build your armies, they are sent off to fight the opposing forces. If their army has defeated yours, it is up to the heroes to defend the castle. Can you survive 30 waves? Please give some feedback, and makes suggestions on what you want to see. Thanks for your time. ~Azhag~ |

The Armies Unleashed: would be my pick, it sounds very unique and interesting, there really isn't much use to create an unthemed AoS (like Star Wars would be themed) because of DotA. The War of Creeps: Isn't as unique as The Armies Unleashed, and probably wouldn't be played as often. |

The Creep Wars It would be interesting to see what this would turn out like as there aren't meny Creep v Creep maps except for the monolith map made by blizzard and with plenty of mods/skins it should be a really good map if you work on it. |

Well, I did the hero class system, so a player can still choose from like 30 different heroes, and still be a well balanced game. I actually thought of the idea before I downloaded your game, and realized that it had some similarities. I noticed in your game, that when you choose the class, mage(example), you can then change into either a warrior, archer, and then the other two mage classes. So you can go back to either the base class again or move on. Mine is going to be different, Example: The mage class will change into three or four things, Lightning Mage, Ice Mage, Fire Mage, and so on, but can't go back to any of the regular classes. Then after you have gained enough experience with that class, you can then change into a master class. So say I picked the Ice Mage, you could then choose Ice Lord, or Ice Champion. Each class will take one skill from the previous class, and add in their own. So a Master Class will have two of the same abilities, and one new ability, and one ultimate. Hope that explains it to everyone. EDIT: I am going to make a different thread for this map idea, just for suggestions and stuff. |
