Removing stuff under builings/units?

When you make a custom building or a unit ( Units acts like a shop ), it always has the bricks or vines under them, how would you get rid of the stuff under the buildings?

Duh
Thats the splat of the building you originally used. Just use a building with a smaller splat like a Tower or a moonwell.

Use an undead building because they don't have splats. Then take the blight generate ability off.

Remove the splat from the .blp file. That might work. Just remove it from the building your using.

Where would it be...

then give me the whole path... Ex: Units\Whatever.... Were ever it is

It would be Units\ and thats about as far as i can go. Look in the units, and see if you can find a building.blp file. Then when you open it it will have some kinda grass or rocks or something on part of it, just erase that. And you can use the Image Extractor to do that if you dont wanna mess with the war3.mpq.

I dont like archers. They build fast, upgrade strong, and they are pretty long ranged. You can have a group of those things, about 40 or so, and mess everything on the map up. It leaves no room for heroes, but i got archer rushed once back a long time ago and i never forgot it. 10 f*ckin archers in the first 3 minutes, that was just insane.

edit the slk files that controls which splat goes where. if you want to make a mod or something, you might want to create a new unit entry

(otherwise, just take a orc tower as entry, and remove its splat is uses)

Well if you want to make a unit act as a shop without the splat, the simplest way I know is make a new unit; then remove its weapons (by setting "Attacks Enabled" to "None"), make it immobile ( Setting the units move type to "None" and setting anything under the move prefix to 0 ) and give it the "Select Hero" ability. Afterwards you can give it items you want to sell and you'll have a merchant unit that sells items without the splat.

Mod Method:
1. (Easiset)
Edit UnitsUI.slk, find your building's code, make uberSPLAT "_" or blank.

2. (Effects several buildings) Change Splat's Graphic BLP

WE Method:
If enlarging a building, use a farm. It has the smallest and least-noticeable splat.

If shrinking a building:
1) Base off circle of power. But then it cant be built :(
2) I've HEARD that you can use Undead, but I do think they have splats.
