the idea was to take about wow troll anatomy and make it OBESE!

PHAT TROLLS!!

still working on a full body shot, but heres a headshot i slapped together in PS, 45 minutes i guess, didnt really pay attention.

Zoom (requires log in)

i did not increase resolution for this, its life-size right there bam.

brushes ranging from 50% to 70% opicity, in stead of the usual 30% or so.

he's fat

he could be one of those story book trolls that hide under the bridge and eat people.

Nice work Erwt...

considering the fact that I find this pursuit utterly revolting... I really have no suggestions.

Haha. It's fun to draw obese figures and the way the flesh hangs on the body structure. Well, sometimes, at any rate.

Good show on using higher opacity brushes to get that hard-edged, painterly feel.

I think the color choices could be more well-thought out, though. That blue is almost a cheerful blue (inasmuch as a cool color can be thought of as cheerful), so I think you need more gross colors in there; things in the yellow to green range, play with desaturated colors and mix in some browns to play with the greens here and there, with a touch of purple for some complementary contrast. just mix it up and experiment more!

Keep the good work coming.

i'll definetly do this. i'm definetatly going to do more pics on this guy, play some more with tusk composition especially, and design a full-body shot.

i think i'll set him up against some freaky gnome warlock, i think you'd be able to do a lot of freaky things to a gnome warlock, its like the ultimate opponant for him. i'll make him a shaman, i think. or a voodoo guy, not quite sure yet. shaman will let me practice my lightening effects :P

oh and i named him 'Klogg'
