Opening maps..used in the actual game.

Is there a way you can open a map used in the actual game...because I want to view their trigger editor and other things to see how they do it.

I can't find them in the folders...they are all just melee maps..not the campaign ones.

So I opened Campaign editor and I opened the Demo campaign that is already installed and then it said, uses demomap or something, and even that map I couldn't open.

I basically want to open one of the campaign maps, like say the first chapter when you are Thrall...and see how they do the triggers and things so I do the same style in my campaign.

Any one know?

Thnx

P.s. Does anybody know a better forum where people post more and reply more, like a Warcraft 3 one, this seems a bit dead and slow.

You can find the campaign maps in warcraft data files, the MPQs. To open them, you need a program that does that such as WinMPQ. Look in the tools section of these forums or at www.wc3sear.ch to find a mpq viewer.
