Guest | Battles of Warcraft: The idea of this map, is to take several of the instances(dungeons) from World of Warcraft and bring them togather into one map. Players would choose one of the class, or load a saved character. The host would then pick an "instance" to play once the instance was defeated the map would end. Heros: Each hero would go levels 1-60, and can could choose up to 7 from 12 skills, each skill with 8 levels also they would be able to get 5/6 talents Items: Their would be 4 qualities of items, normal, rare,epic and artifact. Weapons would work on a % based system, this would be so they would not stack, and so weapons would be useful through out the whole game, the same with armor. For example X dagger could have +10% damage and drop off a weak beast, while Y Sword could drop of a Instance Boss and add +150% dmg. Enemies: I want to make enemies feel more alive then the standarad just sit there and attack me and i'll attack you back. I am thinking of having triggers, with random events. For example a unit passes through region X: setX= rnd # between 1-5. If X=1 spawn 10 lava hounds, if X =2 spawn 4 Flame Giants..... X=5 do nothing. Also I would have triggers to make enemies seem smarter. For example on one boss we could have a trigger, if number of units in 1000 of boss = 5 order boss to cast warstomp. If health of boss < 400 order boss to cast Greater Heal on Boss. We could also have ways of fighting more then your normal battle. For example we have boss 0 who can't move surounded by 5 circles of power. The Cops(circle of power) are grey, every 5 seconds one of them goes black for 4 seconds, if a unit enters the Cop in those 4 seconds, it goes back to grey, if not it goes to red, and casts "Fires of Healing" on the boss it surounds, healing it for X. Basicly my goal with enemies is to make them and the players more involved with the game. Instances: Deadmines Gnomeragon Scarlot Monestary Dire Maul Mauradon Black Rock Depths Alterac Battle Ground* Triggers: Save and Load Skill Pick Spawn Hero Pick Creep Revive Events Boss attacks. *Unit spawn system *Another possibility would to have an AoS similar to Alterac Battle ground, 2 teams of 5 and 2 comps. The goal would be to raze the enemy encampent. Players would get faction"gold" from kills and other things to purchase items. Players could also take passage ways into the various instances to compete with enemy players for items and bosses. I would like to add this in. Each instance would be a small size map, with alterac being the rest of the map(I am not sure how big) I understand this is an ambitious project, but I have finished alot of it already: All horde and allaince units and structures Creep Revive trigger Save and Load All skills and classes Skill pick system Normal Items Unit spawn system Hero Spawn system Talents What needs to be finished: Terrain Event triggers Boss Trigger Creep Units More Items I am looking for several terrainers who can terrain small size maps of various istances. The maps except for alterac vally do not have to be exactly the same. They just have to have the atmosphere and ambience. For example, black rock depthes would have firey and lava terrain(outlands) while deadmines would have underground terrain and have goblin and mechanicale structures and such lying about. I am also looking for some triggers to help me design the bosses and events. I need idea peoples. I would like people who could search for epic/rare items on thottbot.com and suggest some cool ones to me, I am looking for about 15 epic, 10 rare, and since artifacts are not in the game 5 cool sounding artifacts. I need people to find info on the various creeps. I need people to find info on the bosses and their styles of attack in the instances. I need a terrainer to terrain alterac vally, but that will be the last thing. Ya.. I wrote alot. |

Guest | I guess when you have done alot of work on a map, and are willing to do alot, and only need a ideas and terrain, people don't like it. So I'm rephrasing my post: Okay this map is gunna be a rxors map with over 150 abilites and its gunna be off wow and have 6 instances and 40 items. I am to busy so I want you guys just to do all the stuff and give it to me kkkk. Those style posts seem to get most responses, even though they shouldn't |

Guest | Can you terrain any of these: Deadmines Gnomeragon Scarlot Monestary Dire Maul Mauradon Black Rock Depths I am thinking of giving each team a base and an entrance to the dead mines, and then they would fight the goal being to be the first team to destroy the other teams base. Each team would have one powerful guardian, Ilifar the Tree lord for alliance and Lok Azul the Ice Lord. |

Guest | Also I need Ideas for people to come up with events and actions that bosses could use to make a battle more interesting then your standard one. For example, when you face Thermaplugg, a gnome gone crazy in Gnomeragon, while fighting he may ever so oftem build a factory, which spawns soldier, or a gnomish explosion device which after 5-10 seconds explodes. That is an action a boss would use. Events are things like: Hitting a switch and discovering a hidden passage way, a group of creeps on patrol, and when they are attacked by you, attack you they feel and bring back more soldiers. |

this sounds a lot like UL and war 3 WoW (well more like war 3 WoW) I suggest, you joining either of those projects, since thier further done... |

Guest | I consider it very different because: My skill system> their skill system My map is only 6 small/meduim sized instances in one map. I am half, if not more done. I already offered my skill+talent system to both those groups, and they did not reply(that I know of). My map is 6 v 6. My map is more like a 6v6 rpg then an actul world of warcraft. |

Guest | I did, I offered to UL, an aos/rpg of world of warcraft, and since he did not take it I made my own aos /rpg, and I offered my skill system to single player of warcraft, because I disliked their system because it was very rigid,and you could not pick specific skills, It might have been to late for them to take it because it was after the demo. |

Well If this closed then I shouldnt post here but I could have made maybe some terrain on Dead Mines, just If you would revive it. I think this idea were great and I dont think you should just kill it. |

Guest | If you are willing to terrain deadmines, go ahead and do, cause If I manage to get all the terrains, then I will finish the map(its all 95% done xcept for terrain). So If I can manage to get the terrains, then I shall finish map. |
