Custom Layout

In some maps, I have noticed a custom layout. For example, the Undead layout is all skull-ish and purple, and the clicking icon is a dead pointing hand, and everything looks all Undead. Basically, for my map, I want a certain character to have a custom layout, and I was wondering if any of you know where I can search for them, or if anyone knows anyone who could maybe make one for me. I wasn't sure if I should post this in the General forum or the Artists' one, but I just posted it here.

I dont know of anyone who gives Custom UIs out. It would be easier to make your own I believe. Its only 2d Art, just search "Custom UI" and you will find a tutorial on how to make one.

UI! That's what it's called, I remember now. Anyway, sure, and thanks for the help. I sort of assumed they were really hard and complicated to make, I guess I should've searched for it in the tutorials first.

Edit: Well, I searched for custom UI making tutorials all over wc3campaigns, wc3sear.ch, and google, and no luck. All I found was people presenting their custom made UIs, no one explaining how to make one or anything.

Okay then, let me explain:

Download the Wacraft III Viewer from wc3sear.ch
Run wc3Viewer.
On the 'Treeview' select BLP.
You sill see a list, choose 'UI.'
Now choose 'Console.'
Then choose the race you wish to modify.
Right-click on the specific parts you wish to modify and choose 'Export (and convert) BLP.'
Then save in a format you would like to work with.
Edit the UI to your personal setup.
Once completed use the wc3vier once more.
Choose 'Convert Files' from the title bar.
Choose 'BMP, TGA, or JPG Convert'
Locate your file and convert it to BLP.
Now import your BLP into your game using the same path you took the original file from (ex: UI\Console\RACE\File_Name.BLP)

Thats all there is to it. Good luck.

Awesome man, thanks! The thing is, I don't have Photoshop and cannot afford it, so i'll probably need someone else to do it for me, but thank you for the instructions, I am going to save that in a word document or something.

Glad to help. Just ask your friends if anyone has a copy of photoshop. If you know "computer people", someone is bound to have it. (There are other ways of aquiring expensive software of course ;) )
