hi everybody. I've tried a few times to spell edit, and failed, mostly cause I'm having trouble using WinMPQ. This is of course rather embarrassing cause everyone is always saying how easy to use it is. So I was reading Faranims Spell Editting guide, and tried to do what it said. I opened up the War3Patch.mpq archive thingy and then extracted Units.AbilityData.slk (think that's right) into my War3 folder and then put Daishi of Death's spell editor in there as well. Then i load it up, and it loads fine. Then when i try to double click on an ability or try to use the 'edit' button, it always gives an error and closes.

Help in a vague way?

Im not sure, but I think that the Abilitydata.slk has to be in the same folder as the editor. If you used winmpq to extract it, it will be in warcraftiii\units. Copy it from the Units\ folder into the plain wc3 folder and it should work.
