Extracting MPQs?

Loofy	Strange - I downloaded MPQ viewer and tried to open the maps but I seen nothing when I open them. It's like the file is empty or it's not even being opened. Anyone else have this problem with mpq viewer? Maybe I am doing something wrong

Draco	USe the open data file option to open a .txt file with a list of all of the things in an .mpq. you can find them here or at UMS.com. They are in WINMPQ zip too.

Loofy	Opened ... I see nothing. Totally blank. Like nothing ever happened. Tried to open a list file with all components. Help ? =(

Electromancer	Just get the Winmpq program. Its much much better.

Insaniteus	Ok, loofy, you need a list file. TechMPQ and probably WinMPQ come with the Listfile for WarCraft. I'm attaching one anyway, put this in your MPQ directory. -Insaniteus-

Loofy	mpq directory? =) - nvrmind figured it out. Thank you so much for helping. I assure you I will come back and haunt you some more as my map progresses =)
