I need to find a laser projectile

Is there a laser projectile u can download and if so where is that. i need a red thin laser if you know how to get one plz let me know.

I am working with him. I'll actually need quite a few lasers, a laser 'pack' basically. A red thin laser, a purple thin laser, a blue thin laser, a red large laser, a purple large laser, and a blue large laser. 2 of those 3 colors would be fine, but i'll need red and purple, or red and blue. If you can get red and purple and blue it'd be great. I didn't want to post it myself because I thought it might be spamming of the forum. Could anyone please tell us how we can make these, or who can make them, or where we can get them from???

Seriously man? I checked wc3sear.ch, browsed the whole model and skin section, typed in 'laser' 'laser model' 'laser projectile' 'beam' and every variation of that. I only got one, which was something called 'Red Laser' made by Illidan Evil X something, and apparently it caused maps to freeze and everyone said not to use it, so...yeah. Could you please link me to the page that shows laser models/skins???

Actually, I found this model right before you posted that lol. Thanks anyway though, I am importing it now and i'll see what it looks like in game. I hope someone makes a red laser soon =/

Strange, I imported it and it didn't show up in game. I deleted, redownloaded, and imported it again, and still the same problem. Everything seemed to work fine, just there was no picture for the laser. It was nothing, in the editor and in game. Does anyone know why it isn't showing up?

You can use any of the lightning effects via triggers or triggered use of a lightning-based skill like life drain or finger of death. You can alter any of the lightning effects through reskinning.
Just a different approach.

Well, I suck with Photoshop, and so do all my friends. Anyway, lightning isn't really what I want, I want a thin laser projectile, not something that reaches from you to the opponent. Like a bullet, just the bullet is a laser. Anyway, does anyone know why this laser model is not working???

I'll recolour the laser if you want :) And I should be able to make it bigger/smaller too. Oh, and to make the model work, you need to import the texture as Textures\Laser1.blp

EDIT: Finished recolouring em, I just need to check if the model uses any other textures now, it should ne ready in a few minutes. Do you need any other colours?

Ok, there finished! I did purple and red ones, but I didn't change the size yet. If you want me to just say.

Should I make laser2 Textures\Laser2.blp and laser3 Textures\Laser3.blp?

Edit: A thousand apologies, but the lasers are a lot longer than I thought. I know I asked a lot of you, but since I know nothing about modeling or skinning, do you think you could maybe make all 6 lasers (red, blue, purple, thin red, thin blue, thin purple) maybe half as short or so? Sorry for all the laser hassling, but the laser firing system is a big thing in my SWA map, and I am making a testing map of how it works. Thanks in advance to whoever will be shortening these lasers.

I know this is really off topic and all, but I just got this PM from someone named Lord_Carbo. At first I read it and think it is a mistell, which I don't see how that's possible. Then I am wondering if it has anything to do with this thread? He seems to be extremely angry at me because I am not a good skinner? He seems to be so angry that he's acting offensive, so I am wondering if we could clear this up. It seems like either a joke, a mistell, or this guy has some serious anger issues, actually more than that. If I recall, all I said was 'I suck with Photoshop and cannot skin' and I wasn't even whining. I would understand if I said something like 'I am bad at skinning this is gay, someone show me how to skin. Skin these for me! This is dumb, skinning is retarded.' Hell, I don't even think someone would ever say that, so I wanna know what this guy's deal is.
