Ok I've thought of a General story plot for this story line, Basically there will be a war comming out in the land which me, as metaco owns. The ideal story line is that you are scattered off my castle to explore my land and Conquest a journey to do series of quests to be properly trained for war. As the story unfolds it will be processed in different maps. So basically When I get all my Stuff done for the map, I'll have the first map done for Quests to switch to first class. On other releases will be focus on A few general classes of class 2. So after about 3 maps done with Quests to change class the true story unfolds, the rpg will carry on to a series of Greater minions which you will encounter as they invade my land. When the final day arrives as the final act, you will conjure a war which will lead through 3 final bosses. Each map per boss, so you journey deeper and deeper.

That is the general idea of the story line, what do you guys think?

I will have cinematics done on seperate maps, gives me a chance to practice up my Cinematics.

Just so you know making a multiplayer- campaign, with multiple maps. im assuming one map for each region. is a lot of painstaking work. I honestly would stick with just one 'epic' sized map.

And im confused about the class skills. so your saying a character can only have 2 active skills? or do you mean two 'skill areas' with multiple skills in them?

Ehh sorry about the skills part, it umm didn't come out the way I typed it in formation, What I mean is in class 1 you pick 1 skill (skill book) and in class 2 you have your first skill book, as well as pick another 1. Each skill book contains about 5-7 skills in them, and it's leveled up every time you reach a required level. Anyways no it's not going to be area wise, I'm saying each map will have a few levels of creeps to slay, basically I'm spreading out the quests, probably have about 6 class changes for the first map, and the class 2's will come out in different maps for class change along with more creeps and boss of course, and each map is about a size lower than epic to size of epic, I'm doing a lot of compressing and so far no memory leaks!! and thanks to searching around I've found out that I can save a lot more kbs compressing custom 2d icons!!

Sounds neat.

Just to tell you though it is painstaking work and could endanger your real life in certain ways, which is what happened to the creator of FFForever.

I want to know what classes you are going to put in.

One thing to remember: Finish first, fix later; most maps don't come out because the team of people who try to make it try too hard to make it better, it goes off topic and everyone gets tired of wanting it out, then the next thing you know it, most the main elements of the map aren't done and the extra stuff is already in.

I just hope that it doesn't happen with this one.

Thanks for the advice, My overly concern right now is trying to save as much space as possible for quests and terraining, I am just currently making spells, I've already implemented a fix "Strength" and "Weakness" for each character, well I haven't done all characters... only DOING 3 of them right now = Wizard/Summoner/Druid. Dueling will be soo fun in this because I have worked hard to make the resistance system work with spells now. All spells that are corrupted such as "Breath of fire" those are rated as Universal attacks, they do more to Cold but to some other type armours it does more damage as well. I've been trying to figure out how much effectiveness is required for each Elemental attacks, and I've decided that 2 are going to be effective, 2 will deal normal damage, and 4 will be reduced.

This is the gest of the plan, I've already written each class and their spell requirements On PAPER!, I have lots of plans written down, I don't give out ezly, but of course I gave out on my last rpg... Reason being too many memory leaks, and it was all a Skill spent type of an rpg. I've done a lot tho ever since I started this project, I learned how to add exp, gold, lum, Abilities, And Stackable Items(the newest I've learned) to save code.

Note: these are the characters below, I may not make some of them due to lack of space (I am making a lot of custom spells)

(Class 1) (Class 2 Alternate A) (Class 2 Alternate B)
Mage -> Sage -> Wizard
Archer -> Hunter -> Druid
Fighter -> Barbarian -> Gladiator
Paladin -> Crusader -> Knight
Priest -> Summoner -> Necromancer
<----------------------These may not be able to fit in---------------->
Monk -> Dragma -> Warlock
Thief -> Assassin -> Ninja

btw plz elaborate this "endanger your real life in certain ways" I have been working outside and inside and I'm doing ok I guess.. getting 1 spell per day which is a good pace, I don't have that much stress kind of? I work 2 jobs and do W.E. coz I want, My girlfriend always says I spend too much time on the comp.. so last week I had a bit of a trouble catching up with my map.. it's ok coz we got into a fight so basically I'm forcing her to learn the w.e. to make up for things

I try to get ideas off of her bro but he's not good with the editor.. nor is he with creativity, anyhow I'm basically soloing this map as well, and I had stress trying to figure out how come spells didn't do Extra damage when they were suppose to, fixed it and got a lot more than what I expected, Now when you do spell damage that are fixed and have something like this beside the ability name "[Poison]" this does damage equal to how much intelegence you've worked on

Btw you'd find this map very unique, In every game random chickens spawn in the map, you are given the ability to "eat" and each colored chicken has different effects for instance, "white" colored chickens regain 15 points of health, so basically you try to attract a bunch of chickens and eat them, Of course there is a level requirement to gain this spell, and of course it's part of basic skills, and it'll have no cost of mana! I'm thinking of putting a hidden shop or something where they sell chickens so you can spawn them in battle, Kind of like the "Critter Item" that is given in Ladders human race shop.

ok so far so good, I've gotten 1/3 of the spells done, it's a long list trust me about 27 spells? around ruffly I'm making sum of the spells plain and simple, Just to save space on the map, which isn't doing so bad I've gotten 1 custom Geomerged model in, so my map is exactly 350kb with save code.

*(Feed back wanted)* So heres the feedback I want; the question of the day..
1. Would it be good to Lock the cam on the hero? or to leave it so you can move around the camera and stretch see everything, Note in mind that I will camera bound each areas, and remember there is a duel base sequal when I get everything done!

2. When I get to Quests, should I make the Spells Level by Level requirement (Default) or should I make Quests with Level requirements, so that you are lvl 90 as in requirement and you finish a quest, then it lvls up the spell for you?

3. Should I allow you to choose which spell (only 2 types per class) or should I split the abilities done by specific Quests?

Here are the udpates :
-Heroes Sage, Mage, Wizard is done, 6 spells are done here, remember When I say 29 spells I mean 29 SPELL BOOKS.

-Resistance and weakness are done, 7 types of elements, and Spells can now deal Magical damage EG. Poison spell type can do more damage to Wind (*it's just for an example)

-Types, Poison, Lightning, Cold, Fire, Physical, Holy, Wind

-Custom model Description : It's for sage model, A mixed combination of Priest body + Rifle head w/Spell breaker mask, and the hood of an Acolyte

-Black mask fixed*

-Save code ability save only fixed* (means instead of my save code saving Hero worked skills which in this case is completely useless in my rpg, it's a lvl based learning skill.)

(Note)7 spells per spell book for Class 1 Heroes, 5 or 6 spells per spell book for class 2 Heroes Depending on how much weak spells are in there, Has to be balanced with at least 1 Strong Elemental Spell.
