I dunno, i was just bored and decided to see what would the map look like.
The map size is 470x470
The units are very small, and move very slow, and has a costum camera so you can see your hero :P, heres some pics.

Poll: Do you think it's possible to finish this map. (with terrain, quests, and all thigs)

It is way too much to finish, just think about how many quests you would have to do, how many creep spawns you would have to have. Unless you are very determend then i would say no.

Hell, i would like to finish this map, but i don't have much time now. It would be cool thou, it takes 20 seconds to scroll from on corner to an other. Imagine how long would it take to explore the whole world!!

Ya, I thought about making a civilization type map with this of the whole world. It would be simple to do then what your doing. But I found when I zoomed in the terrain became blocks. So I dropped it since the map would be ugly.

Ah... 470x470 is WAYYYYY too huge. You should make the map space smaller, just incase IF you finish, you have holes that are unused.

EDIT: Can someone tell me why it says 10000%? and NEVER put multiple choice on "yes" or "no" questions.

it is probably possible....if you have months on your hand to do nothing with but terrain and trigger a HUGE map..even though it would be very very difficult to finish a map like this, i find that the unit to building ratio would be much better(instead of the unit being half the size of a castle...unrealistic) or unit to terrain would be better(instead of units being as tall as trees). so if u could finish this map than i commend you greatly:god_help_us:

Ive began some maps in that size and the problem is that its to big to attach any of the existing skys in WE.

Anyways, good luck and keep the work on,.
You might consider working more on the terrain (adding doodads and making it more realistic)

I could finish the terrian in a few days, but have no time on triggerin and other stuff cus i'm working on lots of projects, and taking requests right now.

Question Num 1, I thought the biggest map was 256X256, Question Num 2 How did you make it 470X470? And no I don't think u'd get the map finished in good quality Coz Num 1 you won't have enuff space to make triggered quest, Num 2 You won't be able to make that much custom spells, Num 3 No save code? well maybe u don't want a save code :S Num 4 most likely you'll consist of about 7-8 heroes only :S Will there be a story line? or is it just a walk through rpg? I say Terrain is very hard, Especially when you include doodads, How will you get the whole map covered if you don't use Trees? and trust me I did an unfinished rpg, Trees lag the save, they lag the game as well -_- They LAG even when I Scroll around -_-... The men in the pic looks cool when they small.. but you can already make a big map if you know how Final Fantasy Forever is like :)

I'm sure it's possible, (look how far UL has come, and Fladian said it would never lift off of the ground) but you'd need to be dedicated. Yeah, and how did you get the map size to firkkin 470x470? Far as I know you can't even stretch from the cenario screen to that far.

I just want to chek how would the map look like :P

-Yes I played FFF.
-Why wouldn't i make so much coustum spells?
-Who taked about save codes, and yes i know who to make a save code :P
-Hell, the only Lag will be in the editor. It takes long time to load the map, but it saves it quickly.
-I will put trees, but i won't make them destructible, it makes less lag.
-My current project is Saga of Varimos(check in my sig) and the first map is 256x256, and hell it's small to me. I don't have enoghe space to put all i want. btw it has 14000 doodads :P
And to all of ya: I forgot how i made the map so big, i think i used WEU :P, will check it.

As far as i know you can only create maps with a size that is possible to multiply by 32, thats what i know... i made a 480x480 map to try once, it got too laggy because of the size, also the loading time was like several minutes...
32x15 = 480 ~ well just my thought. Ive tried making the map irregular, but when i press create map it says the map has to be a multiple of 32 so... had to comment this

You can customize it and add and subtract some tiles through map properties. Max is 260 something without WEU though...

256x256 I agree is small, I'm just afraid that something like 470x470 is too big, I'm so used to detailed rpg's so sorry I fussed up about that, I made a 256x256 with detail and it lagged hell alot with me, do you think generating map terrain on height have something to do with it? I thought it would be weu, but then again I shouldn't assume, so therefore I asked, anyhow Weu seems to have a lot of features! and everything is suppose to be easier!
