Some might be familiar with the premise (myself, I got the idea from conceptart.org,) but if not, here are the details: A group of people, perhaps two or three, each make a sketch of a character or creature or some such. The other people in the group each have to make a finished rendering of that sketch, altering it in some cases to add a personal touch. For example, John, Henry, and Sally each present a sketch. John has to make a finished peice of Henry's and Sally's sketches; Henry of John and Sally's; and Sally of John and Henry. I thought it might be fun to do this with some people from here. Any interested parties please reply. If interest persists, I'm sure we can agree upon a method of making the teams. A randomization script can easily be made, or a third party can asign them. There is no theme to speak of, unless it is unanimously wished for in a specific group. I would suggest not, but it's up to you. I think total freedom would be the best environment for diversity and interest. We begin as soon as enough people are interested. If, for example, we go by chronology, we three (Shadow, Worm, and Ogre) would be group 1, the next three group 2, and so on. A holistic process would require we wait until everyone makes their interest known. I await more input for ideas on selection processes. |

Wait there something Im not getting Sally makes a sketch, John Improves upon that sketch, then Henry improves upon the sketch that John had improved on sally? |

No Shadow... John, Sally, and Henry are in a group. Henry posts a sketch. Sally posts a sketch. John posts a sketch. Henry makes finished pieces off of Sally and John's sketches. Sally does the same with Henry and John's. And John does the same with Sally's and Henry's. Thus... Henry's one sketch will yield two finished pieces... one by Sally, one by John. Sounds Good. We'll go the chronological method. This way we can get started fairly quickly. After finishing one round, we can sign up for more if we feel ambitious enough. I'll edit the first post and keep it updated to display the groups. We just need a more telling answer from deathlegionare than maybe. This does require some commitment, please keep in mind. |
