Warcraft III RPG

Hallo everybody. Im going to make a big RPG with lot of nice Feature:

New Stat System
If you use sword, axe, club.... you increase your strenght.
If you use bow, you gain agillity.
If you use spells, you gain intelligence.

New Attack System
if your weapon give 12-16 d, and the attacked unit have a defens +2 the
damage will be 12-16 - 2 = 10-14 d.

The weapon will have different attack speed, i.e
Dagger = Very Fast Attack speed
Short Sword = Fast Attack Speed
Two hands sword = Slow Attack Speed

New Ability System:
Learn you ability by some people around the map. Or if your job is mineing
your learn the ability "mineing".

New Character System:
The hero have 2 different attack animation
Attack 1 = melee attack
Attack 2 = Range Attack
So your hero can use bow and sword.

Your hero also need i.e 5 strenght to equip a sword.

Enterable buildings:
You can enter the buildings. i.e enter the tavern and rent a room.

Its show you weapon:
If you pick up a sword you can see it in your hands.

Special Save/Load System:
This special save/load system will save:
Hero, Level, Item, Gold/Silver, Quest, Job, Ability.

Job System:
Get a job and earn gold/silver. You can increase your level of the job.

Skill Points:
Every time you gain levels you get 10 skill points, you can use the
skill-points to increase your spells and combat tactic. Or learn new ability/spell.

Weather System:
There will be a weather system. It will make it rain or thunder.

Spawn System:
After you killed a unit, it will respawn again.

Hero Reviveing System:
If your hero dies, you will be revived but it cost XP.

Extra Inventory:
There will be an Extra Inventory to store extra items.

About the map:

Tileset will be Sunken Ruins mix with Ashenvale and Daleran/Cityscape
It would be a multiplayer Open RPG, i havet planed any story line yet.
There will be a lot of quest and reward...
Playable for 8 or 12 player.
the size will be 256x256.

You start with a hero in a little town.. First you need a job too
earn gold/silver too get better equipment. Its your own choice if
you want to be a warrior, ranger, or mage...
You can learn a lot of ability like cut skins, fishing, mineing, craft weapon.
There will be 2-3 small village and 1-2 big towns.

Im really pro with GUI but not with JASS..
I can use adobe photoshop CS2 okey... (but not skining)
I can edit models with Oinker Winkle Vertex edit...

-I could also use a skinner with good talent, to skin
a new interface, doodads, unit and maybe new tileset....

Hey, cool idea, I have a class selection idea, something like a silver master, he can control silver and mold many things from it.
Also I can model edit but not model, I think 3dmax is way too fucking expensive for a modeling program. I can also do almost everything in GUI that can be done in Jass, only a few things I cannot do.

There will be no class selection system... You start with a hero, and if you want to be warrior you need to fight a lot with your sword, axe or club, and learn some warrior skills..

If you want to be rouge use bow, you need to use you bow alot.. and learn some rouge skills.

If you want to be mage/wizzard you need to use spells...


I can almost do everything in GUI... But can you model doodads..? what about skinning?

I cannot skin but I can model doodads using vertex modifier(it's a real pain in the ass but im very capable)And change UV points easily, and by class system I meant like learn it from someone like how you mentioned in your first post.

Sounds nice. I hope this turns out nice as well.

Just make sure that Armor NEVER can exceed attack damage, or even get 1/2 as close.
