In Need of teammates for current Project (serious teammates only please)

I just recently started a story line loosely based on Dawn of the Dead (yes i know its been overdone) but my idea has nothing really to do with the movie much less its story plot. Its basically a single player first or thrid person shooter/rpg with a fixed camera and movement with either your up, down, left, right keys or your mouse (normal play).

The game is based in present day New York during a terrorist biological attack on the city and its surrounding suburbs, the biological attack does not seem to effect the people of the area until mysterious deaths occur due to bites and maulings, the bite marks are strangley human. it turns out that people exposed to the virus who had open wounds contracted a virus that causes them to die and return from the dead to feast on the living. Now you must survive through the disaster.

Iam in need of a

Skilled and Dedicated Modeler

Skilled and Dedicated Triggerer (This will be the area ill be working in along with the storyline, quests, ect. i just need someone who can help me with difficult parts of the triggering such as save codes, upgrading weaponary and vehicles, and much more.)

Skilled and Dedicated Terrainer/Map Maker

Skilled and Dedicated Cinematics Person

If you are interested and are serious about making this large scale project or just want more information email me at [email protected] or PM me.

This has been done before yes, and instead of doing somthing overdone why not think of somthing new to do? And you are never going to get a skilled modeler, because they are either too busy, or not joining a project that is a replica of 3917 projects. I would suggest you think of a new idea and leave this one, you are only going to get dissapointed. Or you could learn how to do this yourself, because there are zombies in wc3, and marines so what if you have to change your story? Anyway while you might not be new to mods, you are new here, I suggest you begin with a slightly smaller scale mod untill people get to know you. Mabe learn terrain or cinimatics and post some, that way people will know of you and you will have a far better chance of getting your mod done.

I find it ironic, that 75% (or my guess anyways) of the threads made in this forum, end up just like this. Maybe we arn't sending a strong enough message to the new users.

Essentually, what I am trying to say is... You aren't "wow"ing us. In order to catch peoples attention you need to offer them something other than some text. Read the "Do's And Don'ts of map leading" thread... That will give you the "basics" on what and what not to do, when making another thread.

well.. im still gonna try to make the maps smaller and have it in a campaign style. Im removing my request for teammates besides a little trigger and model import help and maybe some custom terrain help.

I appreciate the semi constructive critisism of fellow wc3c members. Im personally glad that im taking the burden of such a large map away and starting off small.
