Ever wonder why the fuck you get booted in every game of DOTA? why not rebuild the GUI triggers with this tool and unbanlist yourself, hell even add some rigged heros, no one's gonna stop you because you're improving it. N00b Destructions: 1) Download nathanmx's unprotect http://unprotect.nathanmx.com/ 2) Check make backup and try pitifully to rebuild the GUI triggers and get an error 3) Check rebuild GUI 4) Delete the map |

Are there a banlist in DoTA? who desided whos on that :P BTW just open the map in Jass Shop Pro find the banlist, edit, save, and be happy. If its in *.wts file use vex's quickfixer. |

I think it doesnt work with the last vertion of Dota, but maybe im worng since I got an old unprotector vertion too... |

The creator of this thread... read the rules, there isn't to be anything posted about map de-protection. It pisses too many people off. Don't start an arguement with me, that's just how it is. |

He called it GUI Rebuilder or Jass To GUI, not illegal that :P He just shound't added unprotector. Where are this rules? |

I don't know where they've gone but a while back a huge argument took place over this sort of thing and in the end they banned any discussion on it. It may be called a GUI Rebuilder, but it's still a unprotector, and people don't like that okay? |

Anyway I't don't work :P, Its the same for me if people like it or not, I will unprotect all maps and get the credits, with or without a non-working tool :P |

wc3sear.ch is real big about the protection/deprotection rule .. to be honest I haven't seen any rules about that on this site .. and that's probably a good thing. Either way, I don't think azu really gives a shit about being banned. |

The rule started by Cubasis and followed by me is that these discussions are flame war friendly and have to be closed. I would close this thread, but err, Unprotect sucks so much, if it is able to "unprotect" your map you deserve it, I would actually feel like giving unprotect too much importance if I close this thread Actually map unprotection is not a bannable offense, unless you are caught by `Dorelian he bans you, then Draco unbans you and you become a cry baby ' Ooh no they banned me for a week because of my noble Anti map protection Job! oh nooo! But seriously, what's the point of removing war3map.wtg since the script is war3map.j, all you need is some basic skills and you can easily remove/add/modify cheats in a game, and even decode save/load systems, i make my own code generator for FFopenRPG and i've found lots of cheats in other maps. |

People protect their maps for a reason. Out of respect it's best to leave it that way. Protectors don't protect their maps to imply, "HAHAA! STupid noobs, now they can't ever open my map and they'll never learn ANYTHING FROM IT AHAHHAHA!!!". No, it's not like that as far as I know. And BTW learning from other people's maps is pretty much useless. If you don't know how to do something, and you go to someone else's map, chances are you don't have the skill to comprehend and understand how the trigger worked. And If you do have the skill to use it, you probally have enough skill with triggers that you wouldn't need to see how someone else did it, because you'd know from your own knowledge how you did it. Only simple triggers could really be understood by those who don't know enough. But then again, you're a moron if you're going to open a map just to find out how they did something really easy, why? Because you don't know the concept of how everything works. Oh wand when triggers have multiple variables, you can forget trying to learn from them. I once made a map about a year ago, I knew it pretty well and how it worked. Now I look at it and I wonder what the fuck it all does, cause I can't make out how any of it works. The best way to learn is to do it yourself, I never opened anyone elses map protected/unprotected and I'd like to say I have fairly high amount of skill in the overall use of World Edit. It's kind of similar to a city. If you built the city, you'd know where everything is and what it does. If the old creator dies and you take over the city... well it'll take you a while to figure everything out and generally for the sake of not being confused, it'd be easier to start over. |
