kinda good first step, but the colors need tweaking if not replacing. The yellownes of the trees is in contrast with the blue of the troll and it also covers more area than the cold blue. Warm colors like these work best on small surfaces, warm colors usualy don't have a great power of coverage. Also the eye's attention is caught by the bright trees, when the main character is the troll. So I suggest a warmer color for the troll (mabye a light green+blue) and some cold color for the trees. If you had in mind to do that, ignore this :P. And those 2 trees from the foreground, the ones covering the troll, appear to have 2 different light sources. The one from the right has a right light source and the one from the left has a separate left light source, but the rest of the picture has only 1 light source....mabye you ment that, mabye you didn't but it's kinda wierd. And that grey from the foreground is realy nasty, give it a green or blue hue. That's about all I have to say. |
