Spells for Melee Heroes (Strike, Slash, Evasion, Etc..)

Hello,
I'm trying to gather some spell ideas for melee heroes. Since most of the ones I'm working with are based either on agility or strength, most of the spells available for download are not suitable for me.

For now the hero models used are:
Paladin (Strength)
Arthas (Living version, wielding hammer) (Intelligence/Strength)
Demon Hunter (Agility)
Tauren Chieftain (Strength)
Warden (Agility)
Hellscream (Possessed version) (Strength)
Mountain King (Intelligence/Strength)
Dreadlord (Strength)
Blademaster (Agility)
Beastmaster (Strength)
Crypt Lord (Strength)
Arthas (Undead version, mounted) (Strength)

Looking for spell ideas for all these models. The heroes are something we haven't worked much with, yet. Anyone with ideas for names and spells please reply to the thread.

:)

I think you should use a Gnoll model as a hero. Just to mix things up a bit.

Whatever you do, remember that an ability does not have to be triggered to be worthwhile. Rather than figure out what you can do to make it pretty, think about what the hero needs to flesh out his other abilities.

Also, even though they're melee heroes, don't forget to give them skills with range. One of the things that Blizzard reliably did to melee heroes was give them solid ranged damage skills to make up for the fact that they can't just attack at a distance.

u shud check out blizzard's World of Warcraft ideas of the warrior, like the stances (defensive mode, battle mode, barserk mode) and shouts.
also remember that warriors shudent have mana, replace it with something that makes sense like power or rage.

Also depends on what kind of map you want.
For instance, if its a hero arena, then you don't want too many auras.
But if its a AOS type map, then you can give the melee heroes auras and summons.

Give all melee heroes at least one moderate range spell. And if they don't have a range spell, at least give them fast movement speed or heavy health (so they're not completely useless).

It also depends on what kind of game you're doing. If you're doing, say, AOS, then the heros may be given auras. However, if you're doing battle arena type maps, than auras are kind of useless.

Anyways, other than your normal melee spells (crit strike, evasion), you could have buffing spells. Bloodlust for self, Inner Fire for self, etc.
You could also have enemy de-buffing spells, Slow, etc.

Spells like a low level bladestorm would make good farmers. And spells like Spike Barricades would make awesome tanks. Don't forget our cleaves and immolations.

Is that what you're talking about? Or do you want completely NEW ideas?
