Well, I've started making a map and put used a hero in it, but the hero will only go to level 5? I've looked at the gameplay constants and Hero maximum level was set to 10. I've uninstalled warcraft and reinstalled it, patched it (with a patch file from blizzards site) and I still get the same problem. I've tried just making a hero in a default map, same end result. Any ideas on what is going on?? is it happening to you?? |

I believe what's happening is that you're only killing neutral hostile creeps? http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=76950 If not then I have no idea what's happening. |

Yes, you can only go to level 5 when killing creeps. You'd probably have been able to find more info on that by doing a search of this forum. |

Under Game Play Constant, under Hero XP GAined - creep reduction table Delete all fields and set the first field to 100, then u'll always get 100% of the xp from killing creeps, enjoy! p.s. there is no use fussing over just to uninstall wc3 :) |

Try placing some units from a differnt player this will result in a hero that can level to level 10 or the maximum you put in the gameplay constants |
