Can anyone mirror the footman so that he is right handed? Don't ask why.. its for a friend who cant get log in because of some error. |

I think he needs the other hand to keep the sword and when its the "drinking" animation (don't remember which stand), the footman to drink with the other hand than he usually does. ~Daelin |

it is really difficult to mirror the footman, because u would need to reanimate him totally. |

If he wants to have the sword stay for drinking he needs to just geoset merge a footman sword to that hand, and angle it to overlay with the original sword. |

reversing the numbers wouldn't be great idea, he could make an arm collide with other mesh like the chest. |

Im sure it has to do with being able to hold a weapon attachment from an item. Most units are right handed, so making an item equip an effect to the left hand wouldn't work for them. It's odd, but yeah.. |

u mean to attach the sword to the right hand with itens, it doesn't matter, remenber that the anims won't match the position of the sword. the point is to reverse him hbut keeping the anims and way it work. hmm maybe instead of reanimating we could reverse the numbers but maybe i would do a mess, hmm it is possible i have made a function in VB that makes a matheatical process to each number of a string, maybe i could make it so it multi`plies for -1 each transition-rotation-scale keys and reverse them. |

oops sorry for no reply... i assumed that my friend would post.. Im not sure if this model is even needed but what i needed was (as the title suggests) a mirrored footman. So he would be entirely reversed left to right. This would make him hold his sword with the other hand..... |

Like what Tufy said, you can reverse animations for a bone to make them mirror what they were supposed to be. I forgot how it was done, but I did it with Darky's and Joel's project's - Day of the Fish(whatever happened to it) - Axey model. (The dwarf who throws axe, and switches weapons) I got the throwing animation from the spell cast animation, and mirrored it for the other hand with CnPing. I remember doing it with giving some of the values a negative value. Seriously, I forgot how to do MDL already, as all I do nowadays is WoW and WoW and WoW. (Trying to level up my warlock T_T) |

the beastmaster, nightelf runner and fire panda have right hand attacks, so u can just import those animations and delete the old ones. |
