Floating Text

I don't understand what change lifespan and change age does. Can someone explain to me? I set values but they don't seem to affect it.

The Lifespan is how long the floating text can live, and the age is how long it has lived.

So can you set a lifespan and it will expire? I have set it to 1 and other numbers but doesn't seem to do anything.

How can I make it dissappear after 3 seconds without doing a wait and then destroying the text.

When created the text is set to be permanent. You can disable that through one of the triggers.

Thanks, the problem was I had to set it disable on both the temporary and resume thing and now it disappears.
