How do you, with triggers, cause units in an area to all be affected by one ability that doesn't effect multiple units? Example: An ability based of roar is used, all allies in 500 range should be bloodlusted. |

temper some with the Unit Group actions and you will eventually succeed. |

With the example you gave, you wouldn't even need to use triggers. Just make the AOE of Bloodlust 500, and make it a Stomp Based ability. |

AOE of single target spells does nothing though |

The way I did it was make a unit group of all units within range of 500, create an invisible unit with bloodlust spell, order invis unit to cast bloodlust on each unit in the unit group, remove invis unit, I made one unit for each unit to be bloodlusted to avoid spell cooldowns, might be able to do it with only 1 invis unit though. |
