Will the Terrain/Cinematic Forum...

...be seperated? Seriously, my last thread got deleted and I'd like to know the answer to this. Mostly because Terrain is just the physical terrain/doodads in a map while Cinematics combine that with triggers to provide movement and dialouge.

the terrain forum was quite lifeless just before the upgrade. with about 1 new thread per day, i assume the admins decided that it was not active enough to continue as a seperate forum with 4 sub forums

We didn't need any subforums, other than the weekly terraining forum, which was quite active.

Another thing that comes to mind is the fact that some of the projects get only a single reply a day and have their own forum.

I would rather move them to art so I have less forums to take care of

No project has any forum right now...

I think that the reason was to make the number of forums of each section a multiple of 2, so there are not empty spots.

So in case you want to split cinematics from the new merged forum you would need a new forum too.

But I wouldn't expect it to happen soon, since at this moment we are even unable to move a single thread, if the split happens it would be very difficult to move the threads where they belong.

I would have actually merged cinematics with triggers.

Let's keep a priority anyways, first of all make User CP, then Project forums then handle this.

Weekly terraining was the most active there....

It is very easy to move a tread, just change its forum ID in phpMyAdmin....

Then only the busy admins would be the only one able to do that. (that Administrator title in my post is a lie) Even so, how would you know which thread goes to cinematics and which one goes to terrain? that would take too much time.

Just move the the Terrain Forum stickies over to the new one.

If you want everything to look nice and pretty and have an even number of objects simply move technology out of the lamers corner up to development.

Center the Off-Topic forum.

I have no access to the server's databases man, I am section director which currently only means moderator of that section, I am not really a site administrator, I don't even care either.

DungeonM IF this change ever happens it will happen at least after the site is completed. (At least project forums) before that Don't hold your breath.

The old cinematic projects forums is still intact:

http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums.php?f=197

And working perfectly, why isn't there a link to it on the main page? Is a very good forum actually being removed just because it would result in an odd number of icons?

(Well, if worst comes to worst, everybody can just bookmark the url and then we won't need an icon)
