where would you like to see a tutorial in a campaign since its systems are totally difrent then the default onces 1. In a seperate map 2. During the game 3. Both 4. No tutorials The problem with during the game is our game has multiply heroes so well the player NEEDS to play with all characters in the end but at the begining its his own choice who what when so..... during the game means either you have to play with every character at start to know the rules or well for no good reason every character would have a tutorial well what do you think? |

You can make every character have 2 tutorials... one short and one long. On the first character a player chooses, the long tutorial is run, explaining game mechanics and everything, the heroes you pick later only give you a short tutorial explaining what's special about them. I guess you wouldn't neccesarily need a special tutorial area, you could just explain it to the player by giving him tips as he plays, or some other way that perhaps doesn't interrupt the flow of the game as much as having a special "training area" for each hero... |

hmmmm you may be right there... I was thinking about placing some things like one character will learn about something and others wont, but guess thats stupid i wanted the player to have the choice to either as i wanted to play with every character at the same time following a time line but the player shcould ahve the choice to play till the limit with one character and then continue with the other (the characters will join forces and when a mission comes where the 2 characters meet, you need to have progressed with both to that point to play the mission) i guess your idea might be good |
