I was thinking about this when i looked into how Evil Illidan could walk on water, and realised it was because his movement type was set to amphibious. Now i want to create an item (a pair of boots) that allow the wearer to walk on water. Is there an ability that i can add to my item to achieve the same result? Or would i have to use triggers, and if so how? Thanks a lot! ![]() |

Movement Type has alays anoyed people because its one of the many traits that cannot be changed via abilities or triggers. What you need to do is a make a clone of any hero who would be able to get the boot item, give the clone the 'amphibious' movement type, and then make a trigger to replace the normal 'Foot' hero with the special 'amphibious' hero when the boots are in the hero's inventory. Also you would need triggers to replace all items, spells, HP, MP, etc. |

Yeah, it's easiest not to mess with those things. Perhaps blizzard will create a patch that will solve that. But then again, perhaps they wont. |
