Special Effects Problem

Hi. For some reason I can't seem to get a special effect to show up on a unit with no model. I need to have a unit with no model and a special effect at the buttom (feet or something). Any help would be great, thank you.

When attaching a special effect to a unit, you need to specify an attachment point, so there needs to be a model that has it. I suppose all models should have the "origin" attachment point, which is at the feet of the unit. Try using an invisible model like "zone indicator", it's under unit models. If it doesn't work, you can still create the effect at the position of the unit rather than attached to the unit, but I expect this is not an acceptable solution for you.

Well that would work for me now that I think about it. I can store the effects in variables. Thank you.
