I've done everything I can to fix memory leaks in both my maps. However, they both crash (with the Fatal Error thing) given a long enough time. I was wondering if I could SEND my map to someone, and have them review the leaks. Currently, I am stumped. I have tried EVERYTHING and cannot get the map to not crash. Is it even the memory leaks? Could something else cause this fatal error? It happens on BOTH my maps, not just one. |

Send it to me and ill give it a look. Memory leaks rarly ever cause the thing to crash unless its so severe that it blocks the whole computer. It may be an infinite loop or something. |

An infinite loop doesn't give you a fatal error, it just throws you out of the game. I still have to determine what occasionaly causes a fatal error in my maps... it happens so rarely (it perhaps happened 3 times to me so far on a map that I have surely played hundreds of times) that I can't figure out what the conditions are for it to happen. I would like to think that it's Blizzard's fault and that no matter how I changed my triggers a map that has many of them will still crash... but I can't really know that. However, your map crashes more often, so in your case it probably is something you do wrong and can be fixed. |

anyone who is willing to go through the trouble of looking at my map, just e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject "Map Fix". I'll reply and send you my original. hopefully, you can spot why the hell my map is crashing... sorry for the double posting :( |
