Ok, I have a problem with the AI of the computer controlled units. I order all buildings on the map to train units, and then those units are ordered to attack/move to a enemy Command Center. Problem is, if a unit uses a ability and is no where near another object to attack/use the ability again on it goes back to the building that trained it and stays there. |

Thats in the gameplay constants somewhere. Theres one for creep return distance and time, edit them to your liking. But remember, if you make them infinite, a creep will chase you from one side of the map to the other without turning back. |

Ok, if you haven't noticed creeps don't own buildings/are trained. Computer Controlled Player slots I mean, their units. |

I'm having that problem too. Turning off AI guard posistions via triggers hasn't helped. I have noticed though that heroes don't seem to have that issue. I have a bunch of units lead by a hero, and while the units eventually ignore the patrol order and go home, the hero doesn't. |

Hello, all. I just got my account back =) Yay! Anyway, my previous map had a reinforcement system where I use a trigger to create a unit as neutral passive and send it to a point on the map. Twas then when I bumped into the same problem as you. It moves a certain distance, and then turns around and heads back to where it started. I never did find out why it happened, but I worked around it by creating the unit as a player controled, and then instantly changing ownership back to Neutral Passive. Hope it helps. |

I am having the same problem... I have Player12(brown) units "wandering". Essentially every 3 seconds they move 200 in a random direction(wander makes them run away when hit, that's no good). But there is still a problem. When the computer units move 200, the second they reach the destination they turn right back to their origional position. It looks enough like wandering, but it doesn't look pretty. |
