Alright lets say I want to make it look like my footman is walking backwards. I can easily move the footman instantly back by 25 every .05 seconds. The issue is he plays his run animation, so his feet make it look like he should be going forward, but infact hes going backwards. Is there a way with triggers to play, for example, the walk animation in reverse? So it looks like the footman is walking backwards? |

not with triggers, but guess what, object editor. What you need 2 do is replace the footman with a custom footman, all stats can be same, except 2 Art - Animation - Walk speed, set this to -210 Art - Animation - Run speed, set this to -210 to. Now, if u instant move him back he will seem to be walking backwards. However, there is a simpler solution. Also set Max pitch to -180 and max roll to -180. Now you can just ORDER him somewhere and he will walk there backwards! |

Genious. Toot, out of all the times you have helpped me, I must say. You are a god among mortals. Hahah not really, but hey, thanks for the good information. I'll give it a shot! EDIT: Awww, I was hoping it would allow units to walk forward normally unless ordered to move backwards. Oh well, its easier than moving instantly! Thanks. |
