i'm interested in making some maps (and perhaps a campaign if all goes well) underwater with an ocean floor setting. i know this is possible because i remember 1 map in particular over at wc3sear.ch where you played 1 of 2 warring naga factions and could travel above or below the water. i just want to know how to get that underwater look to a map. if anyone knows how or could give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Well use models that look underwater stylish :P
And use an blue fade filter to get that water feeling.

However, using fade filters will prevent tooltips from displaying.

Tim.
Only if they are applied constantly. If its only applied once then the tooltips seem to work. Or maybe I'm thinking of somthing else.

i'll probably only be using underwater so that's all i need to know about...most likely. so how exactly would i go about using this "fade filter?"

well as ums-alien said fog would probablt be good then, play with the values in the "Map Options"

Else with Fade Filter you just apply it with an trigger

thanx everyone. i've been experimenting with the fade filters, blue light, etc. and everything looks like i want it! just wondering if theres a good underwater ambience sound out there?

and also, this is totally unrelated, but has anyone else had problems accessing the maps pages over at wc3sear.ch? i havent been able to look at any of the new or old maps over there in like a month. j/w if i'm the only unlucky one.

If I understand right, I think he only meant the map page, not whole wc3sear.

burning dragoon, i know how to get there. i use to be able to look at the maps whenever i wanted, its pretty simple. except now lately, everytime i click on the maps section the page loads really slow and where the maps are suppose to be, there is nothing but black! i was j/w if anyone else had this problem.
