Forgotten Legends - an RPG by Doomsberg

Forgotten Legends is a map/campaign i have been working on for a very long time now. Its a turn based RPG like the final fantasy series. You do quests for people to advance in the story line and battle enemies using a turn based battle system. It also features a new movement system that involves using the arrows and a 3rd person camera that follws your guy around. The camera can also be altered to get the view you want.

Heres a breif outline of the story:
On vacation at a quiet village our Hero is met by the Kings Messenger with bad news. The nearby town of Brumby was attacked and taken over by some unknown force. Our Hero is asked to go to Brumby and find out who was behind the attack, and gather more info if possible. Our hero sets out on a new journey un-aware of just how deep and twisted the story behind the attack will become.

Right now i have released a test version for people to have a look at it which is about 45-90 minutes long of play-time. There will also be some bugs in this test, but thats pretty normal of test maps.

If you would like to try the map you can download it here...

At this stage I have Zanerican helping me with Terrain and i will be doing the triggering. I would really like a creative designer to join the team to help flesh out the story line, help design the cinematics and what the NPC's say. They don't need to be able to do any triggering because they can just tell me what to do and I will do it.
Someone who is good at creating models of people would be very helpful aswell, because the wc3 models don't really do it for this map.

Ultimately i don't need anymore people, but with others help this map can become a lot better than it is now.

If you think you would like to help you can either email me at [email protected] or reply to this post.

I'm not sure this is the right forum, I believe there is one for BETA or completed maps. I'm not sure though.

You might want to post screenshots and what not

There is, and he already posted it there, several days ago. Because he didn't get any answer at all, he probably posted it here.

I posted it here because i thought that general development probably wasn't the right place because I'm after feedback and more team members.

I didn't put any screenshots because it seemed kinda pointless, my terraining isn't anything special. My specialty is the triggering but you can't exactly see it from a screenshot. The best way to find out about it is to download it and give it a try.

But if there is too much concern about where i put my post i will remove it.

Yeah i am going to find it hard to get help at this site. Ever since it has been re-created the site has been kinda dead.

Don't suppose anyone knows of places where i might find people who are into making maps/campaigns for wc3?
