This is pretty simple I'm sure, i've seen it done before. I want to have a unit not be able to move until a trigger lets them. In the mean time they can still use skills. How can I make the move/patrol/stop/ etc buttons dissapear?(The player never sees them, the unit is moved by a computer) |

Lord Vexorian knows, I honestly can't remember. I want to say ALoc, but I doubt thats right. |

I'll try searching the trigger forum. I don't know anything about using custom scripts, but ALoc sounds like one i've heard before. |

The problem is if you remove one of the basic abilities (i.e. move, patrol, etc) it will actually remove the ability. Thus when you remove the ability to move from a unit, it will no longer be able to move at all. I'm not sure how you can really do that without doing something like using a dummy unit to cast the abilities. BTW Aloc is the locust ability, which will disable selecting the unit at all. |

You are right, ALoc isnt the one I'm thinking of. Anyway, the one that Lord Vexorian told me only removed movement abilities, it allows you to cast other abilities form the command card. On top of that it also alows you to give the movement abilities back, unlike ALoc. |

I just realized that I don't need this. I talked with a guy, and I forgot that he just paused the unit and had other stuff enable the abilities. |
