My little ewok model for my star wars map. THoughts? ![]() Its animations are buggy though, can anyone help me? |

Right... Anyway, its okay I supose, could use some more detail in my opinion (that is if its to be used at that close to the camera.) If the animations wont work, please go into a little more detail before we can help you. 3dsMAX Version? Whats 'buggy' meaning exactly? |

Its animations are fine in viewer but in game his attack,death,decay animations do not work. Also when he attacks besides his animation not working and him standing there, his guts texture shows up. |

mmmm..... sounds weird indeed... is something get better with an mdl file? you should try... Are you sure you set the position and rotate control to bezier and TCA? |

The blood spurt it very common with geromerges and such. Did you MDL Edit/Geomerge to create the model, or did you make it with 3dsMax5? |

I dont use any modeling programs. I use vertex modifier and animation transfer programs. |

Theres your problem. The MDL Animation Transfer does not work well. What was the base unit you used? Villager? |

I used the yoda model which animations I found out are buggy also. But i believe thats based off of the orc child or village. Anyways his run and stand anims work, i just need the attack and death. Edit btw I noticed you made a battle for hoth map and now making a battle for endor map? Im making a battle for kashyyyk map and was later gona do endor, maybe we can help each other out in some ways. |

Hah, my Battle for Hoth map was a ship-based AOS and Battle for Endor is a FPS. Quite different maps. Anyway the issue is clearly that the Yoda model came from the Child model, which has no attack animations. You need someone with 3dsMAX 5.x to import it and add those animations. I would help you out but right now my hands are full with modeling an entire terrain. If you want I can do it next week maybe. Do you have AIM/YIM/MSN? |

TiKi if your map is an AoS or even a hero based map (none ship etc) I could help you out in some ways as I have my own SW based map. |
