custom loading screen glitch

I've been trying to add a custom loading screen using the following tutorial: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/thread_view.php?t=56751

I can't get it to work using the BLP (4 segments) method. I keep getting a black screen. I remember getting it to work 2 years ago with a different map, but that map has since been deleted, and I don't remember what I did to get it to work.

Using the FullScreen.blp method isn't an option for me because I need a higher quality image, so the 4 segmented BLP method is the only option for me.

Does anyone know what causes the screen to show as black?

Tim.
Its not that hard, how about getting WEU and just use its standalone feature? It allows you to easily attach an image for the loading screen without making your map incompatable with the default WE.

If you REALLY want to stick with this meathod, post the MDX you used.

I think the problem is the LoadingScreen.mdx as you hinted to. I did not use the one from Blizz's Monolith, but used the one on this page: http://www.world-editor-tutorials.th...loadscreen.php

I'm probably wrong with using that one, as it seems it's made for a 512x512 single texture implementation. I can't find the intended LoadingScreen.mdx file anywhere.

Blah.. I guess I'll export my old LoadingScreen.mdx

Here, let me know when you downloaded it so I can take it off my server.
