Hero without Icon?

Ok,im making a map, but this map involves lots of heroes, and the map would look sloppy if the edge of the screen was always lined with hero icons, so my question is..

How do you make a hero without an icon showing up on the left side of the screen??

Ive seen this done in the DBZ Tributes, so i assume its not too hard.

There is an field for it on the in the object editor, dont know the name for it.

or something around that.

In the unit editor: Stats- hero- hide hero interface icon

what u r telling me to find does not exist in my editor.. Could i possibly have an outdated editor and if so, where can i get the new one?

It's only an option in TFT. However if you play those Tribute games, I asume you have TFT. The exact field name is:

Set that from FALSE to TRUE.

I dunno if there is sumthing im doing wrong.. but i ahve TFT, and that option does not exist for me...

For the sake of curiousity, are you patched to the most recent one? Some fields were enabled after the release patch of the game.

Exactly what I was going to suggest too. The option is only there for Hero units in the later patches. Maybe you have not installed the lastest patch (For example if you formatted your computer).

Do the patches come thru Bnet? Or do u have to get them on my own? I have all patchse from Bnet, but if thats not enough, where can i DL the patches?

When you connect to B.net you get the latest patch.

you are looking in the object editor, at the hero, and at that path right ??? I think all ft editors from release have that option... if you cant find exact path try looking for false/true options maybe it's named differently (even though that would be weird since Tim exactly copied it)

Ok... It does not exist in my editor... could someone please tell me how to getmy editor to have this option.

Reinstall warcraft and the latest patch, I guess. Can't think of any other way to correct this sort of thing...
