I'm looking for a way to make blademasters mirrors take 150% damage. I can't find a way to do it without a trigger, or is there something I'm missing. I looked for a way to make a trigger do this and so far haven't come up with anything. Any ideas? |

if you dont want a trigger, i guess you could make a dummy with an aura which has the maximum length and adds additional armor or something to mirror images or something, like, increase armor by 50%?? Thats all i have, gl with this, lol |

You can just modify that on the spell itself in the object editor. You can specify for mirror image how much of the original hero's damage the mirrors do as well as how much more they take. |

All I could find in object editor is how much health the mirrors have in relativity to the original when you split. Sounds like I need to make a trigger. |

Mirror Image has Damage Taken and Damage Dealt rows. You can alter the Damage Taken row in the object editor in the ability tab under Mirror Image. |

Damage taken refers to how much the image will have when casted meaning if your blademaster has 1000hp and the damage taken is set to 10%, then the images will have 900hp. What I'm looking for is a way to make the images lose hp faster when attacked. I came up with this so far, but I wonder if it will cause the game to lag. I'm also trying to find something better than bonus 50 dmg, but rather a higher percentage of damage taken; such as 150%. Quote:

Eh? I somehow have to question your "Damage taken" interpretation. Damage taken is meant to be set to something along the lines of 3.00 for 300%. Going by your logic, if damage taken is set to 300%, the image will have -2000 hp? If you observe the "Damage taken" field in mirror image, it's by default set to 2.00. So your mirror image takes 200% damage. I have no idea where you got your concept for damage taken -.- EVEN if your concept is right, then to make an image seem to take 150% damage, simply set the damage taken to 33%. If he has 2/3 hp, he'll die 3/2 faster. |

Ant is correct, damage taken tells you how much damage the mirror image takes: by default it is 2.00, and if you check the tooltip of the default mirror image, it says images take twice as much damage. Off topic: Hey, Ant, I've just recently found a link in a topic in the Site Discussion forum to the Lost Forums of Map Projects, and only now read the thread you posted about FoTD before the forums went down. I would really like to see what you've done with the map, if you could upload it anywhere (guess you can no longer do that here). |

Well, I could have sworn I tried that before and it just made the mirror come out with less hitpoints, but I'll check it again. Thanks for the info. Edit It seems I was wrong. I have no idea what I was looking at before, but jeez what a waste to make a trigger for nothing. Thanks |
